Finally Home ;-)

Hello everyone, I am finally home. I'm so sorry that it's taken several days to post.. Frendell had to do so many things this past week-end and between preaching and board meeting and visiting me at the hospital, he hasn't had much time to blog. Ats finally arrived here Friday night, after being delayed over 2 hours, we are so grateful to her for being here. She has been our angel of help and support. When Frendell feels faint, Ats is there to organize the situation and also to empty my drains :-)

I am horrified at some of the pictures he posted of me!!! But what can I do? it's out there now, hurtling in space.... but the words and well wishes and prayers and loving thoughts and concerns bring tears of joy and comfort to our hearts. I just finished reading the blogs and comments... Frendell always had a way with words and even to this day, he manages to make me catch my breath, bring tears to my eyes and make me feel loved and beautiful. He has been my tower of strength and even with the M'urse experience, he has gone a long way with feeling comfortable in a hospital room.

Please let me convey my thanks to all of you, both near and far, for the so many things you've done for us. From painting our bathroom, carpeting our floor, cleaning our house,  bringing us food, visiting us at home and me while I was in the hospital, sending us flowers, gifts and most of all, for praying for us and supporting us in so many different and tangible ways, our hearts are full of thankfulness and gratitude for your so many different expressions of love.  God has been so faithful to us and part of His so many blessings has been sending you in our lives, to remind us of His love and His goodness and His unending support.

I will try to blog more as often as I can. I am still in quite a bit of pain, but feeling queer... between awake in the mind but wishing I could just sleep it off until all feels better. It's difficult to move with all the things I still have on (my ornaments, as Ats would say) and it's hard to find a comfortable position, but it does get better everyday. And Ats gave me a shower today.... praise the Lord for small miracles. Let me tell you, it was a feat just to figure out how we were gonna do it..... but she figured it out and I feel better.

Thank you all for following up on us.. we hope to hear from you soon and maybe see you one of these days. We love you all and are so thankful you are in our life.  And to my dearest sister and my darling husband, how could I have survived this first day home without either of you? I don't I think I could have..

  1. I am so happy to hear that you are home. I felt like I've held my breath the last couple of days.....waiting to hear from you and Frendell. I'm glad that the pause was due to a positive move. The move back home! :) We are moving all home with you.....hahaha! Do you have room for 18 more people? Take it easy. One day, one moment at a time. Praise God for the many steps you've made since the surgery. Love you!

  10. Thank you all for following these blogs. Celita, thank you for praying for me. You don't even know me and yet you have included me in your prayers. Please thank Pastor Tony for me as well as your church, for praying on my behalf. God has blessed us with such a large community of people who have become our prayer warriors. We are blessed indeed.
